Vintage signed shell cameo brooch with stary ruby and framed in 18k yellow gold.
The bezel for the cameo tests 18k.
The gross weight of the brooch is 17 grams with approximately 10 grams or more being gold content.
The natural star ruby at the bottom of the brooch measures 6mm by 5mm and has a deep ruby red color.
The star shows well in natural sunlight. The shell cameo is signed near the bottom if the ladies bust.
I can’t make out all the letters.
The brooch measurses 2 1/4 by 1 3/4 inches.
Excellent condition. Definitely a collector piece.
