Description
Gorham Leaded Glass Table Lamp with Tree-Form Gilt Bronze Tree Base.
Shade has deep hues of rich color. Circa early 1900s
Measures approximately 15″ tall and the shade has a diameter of 14.5 inches.
Some heat cracks on approximately 10% of the panels, though that is to be expected with a lamp of this age.
When most people think of Gorham, they think of silver, but, in 1905, Gorham opened a leaded shade studio in Providence, Rhode Island.
They rivaled the Tiffany lamps for ostentatious.
They were the only company that ever came close to Tiffany on that level.
