Table Scene by Helen Hafer.
Helen Luton Hafer (1914-2003) was born in California on July 19, 1914.
She was a painter of California landscapes and still life works.
By the early 1920’s she was in Southern California.
She studied at the Chouinard Institute in Los Angeles, and privately with Harry Emerson Lewis.
She was the Director of Arts for the Orange County Fairs.
Hafer exhibited widely in Southern California.
She was a member of the Springs Art Association, Desert Art Center in Palm Springs, and Whittier Art Association.
