Antique American Brilliant Period Cut Glass Trumpet Vase – 12 Inch, Pinwheel & Hobstar
A fine example of American Brilliant Period cut glass, circa 1876–1915, in a tall trumpet form standing 12 inches in height. The sawtooth notched rim sits above a richly decorated body featuring a swirling pinwheel motif with hobstar centers and radiating fan cuts — a complex and deeply executed cutting pattern that demonstrates the exceptional craftsmanship characteristic of the finest ABP work. The pedestal stem is cut with diamond point motifs and the circular foot features a rayed sunburst pattern with scalloped edge. Light surface scratches on the base are consistent with age and honest use — the body presents in excellent condition. An impressive and display-worthy example.
