Antique American Brilliant Period Cut Glass Decanter – 8¼ Inch, Stepped Sawtooth Neck
A distinctive and well-executed American Brilliant Period cut glass decanter, circa 1876–1915, standing 8¼ inches tall and weighing 3.1 ounces. The globular body is cut with hobstar clusters, pinwheel fans, crosshatch diamond panels and star motifs, transitioning to a deeply cut geometric shoulder band and a dramatically stepped multi-tiered sawtooth cut neck — an exceptional and unusual neck treatment that is rarely encountered on ABP decanters and makes this a particularly distinctive and collectible example. The base features a rayed starburst pattern with hobstar border. Please note no stopper is included. Excellent condition throughout.
