1943-A 16 size open face Railroad pocket watch by Hamilton.
The single-sunk Montgomery style dial bears red and black arabic numerals in the hour and outer chapter rings, and the seconds dial bears black arabic numerals in 10-second intervals and hash marks.
The hands are black: whips and spade.
The face is inscribed Hamilton.
The crystal and dial are intact.
Stem wind, lever set.
The interior of the rear case is inscribed Hamilton Watch Co./ 10 K/ Gold Filled/ Lancaster PA.
The 3/4 plate, demaskeened, 21 jewel movement is inscribed Hamilton/ Watch Co./ U.S.A./ 992 B/ 21 Jewels/ Adj. Temp./ And 6/ Positions and the serial number, C72646, dates the watch to c1943.
Slight show of brass on the case edges, but otherwise in excellent condition.
